From the mountain range separating France and Italy, multi-instrumentalist Alpine Universe has created his own musical and visual world. His unique sound combines electronic music with the symphonic elements of a grandiose film score, transporting us into the story of a young character named Alpine.
In a world where the dangerous and powerful elements of nature are clashing with our modern civilizations, Alpine will learn to tame these energies and use them for a greater good.
Alpine Universe's first EP "Gaïa" (2014) set up this aggressive, yet beautiful and dense Universe. "Awakening" poses as the sequel to this first opus, introducing us to the character of Alpine in the song "I Am Alpine" with the voice of a 9 year-old opera singer that will give you chills. Then follows the fast and high-energy song "Awakening” that showcases a touch of tribal-electro. "Harvest the Fire" reveals even more about the character and his struggle to contain his energy. Finally "Serak", which is the name of a ridge of ice on the surface of a glacier, is the perfect title to close the EP with a bang, and leaves us hanging for more.
